U.S. Representative Stephen F. Lynch, who has represented Massachusetts’ 8th District in Congress since 2001, posted a series of tweets on September 25 and 26, 2025, covering topics from federal investigations to local events.
On September 25, Lynch alleged impropriety involving a senior White House official. In his post, he stated: “In 2024, current White House “Border Czar” @RealTomHoman reportedly accepted a $50,000 cash payment in exchange for his promise to secure contracts from the Federal Government. Lynch is an experienced legislator with previous service in both chambers of Massachusetts’ state legislature before entering Congress in 2001. Born in Boston in 1955 and still residing there today at age 68, he holds degrees from Wentworth Institute of Technology (BS) and Boston College (JD).
